A place to become more earthly

Cow with Ecofrau: Though cows are, by many, regarded as environmentally detrimental, free-roaming cows actually benefit their environs in a number of ways (source: Omnivore’s Dilemma).

Eco-Effectivity online

We all have our message that we want to send to the world, and the internet certainly makes it much easier for each and every one of us to do that. This is my way. This website, connected to my blog, oregon.ecofrau.org, is my way of attempting to make this planet a better place where all forms of life are more respected than they are now.

Part of my attempt includes leading by example, inspiring others through my example to do what I feel is best. I know that my way and my views aren’t the only way, but I do feel its one option, and I’d like to do what I can to help others.

There are oodles of websites out there attempting to do the same thing that I am, each in their own way, with their own fonts and photos. To a certain extent, I feel like I’m reinventing the wheel, implying that my way is better than all those that exist out there. Well, that is certainly not my intention. I know that I am more likely to venture to those places tried and trusted by my friends and family. This is my logic here as well. If I can help those in my circle to gain more knowledge, acquire understanding, and feel inspired to try something new, then I’ve met my goal.

So, please, check out my blog, which for the meantime resides at the address above. And I do appreciate all the feedback I can get, so please feel free to share!

THANKS! Tamara
